Antelope Island

Antelope Island was so much fun! Madison and Kaelyx's entire school went there on a field trip for the whole school day. We decided to bring the whole family. It's been many years since I have been, and Frank and the kids have never been. We all had fun playing in the water, digging in the sand, and catching brine shrimp. Kaelyx and Tynan had a blast splashing in the water and getting wet. Madison didn't want to go in the water much because of the brine shrimp. But she, Kaelyx, Tynan, and Frank all did great catching the little shrimpies. Ry'ak had fun putting wet sand in a bucket, standing the shovels up in the sand, and splashing in the water. I had fun watching everyone else have fun. We even saw 4 bison and a few mule deer. Every year Open Classroom (OC) takes this school wide field trip to Antelope Island. We look forward to being part of this tradition again next year.
