Tuesday was Madison's 1st day of 4th grade . . . again. She made it off the waiting list and into Open Classroom (OC) a week before school began. Madison started 4th grade with a happy smile and a good attitude. Madison is in a class of third and fourth graders and her teacher's name is Leslee. It's really nice because Kaelyx and Madison's classrooms are next to each other so they see each other a lot. There is a big purple loft for kids to climb in and work on assignments or read in Madison's classroom. It's really cool. Madison is excited to go swimming next week for a field trip, and she also has a new best friend named Paige. She's excited for the new school year.

It sounds like a very fun school Madison and Kaelyx are in! Is it far from your house? Happy Back To School!!!
It's about 3 1/2 miles away, and it's in Salt Lake City's Avenues area. It's a bit longer than the normal 1 mile trip to school, but it's so worth it.
